Faircount interviews President George H W Bush for Navy League publication

President George H W Bush spoke at length to Faircount Media Group's senior editor Chuck Oldham and publisher Ross Jobson about his naval career and what it means to have a nuclear carrier named after him. The interview will be the lead story in the commissioning publication Faircount is producing for the January 10, 2009 event at Norfolk Naval Yard, Virginia. The president recalled the harrowing moments of 1941 when he was shot down, losing his crew mates and almost getting killed himself due to a poor parachute opening. Also discussed was the input he has been able to give to the shipbuilders and pre-commissioning unit who have welcomed his personal touch to CVN77.
