National Education Association

In 2006 the NEA celebrated its 150th anniversary. For 150 years the NEA has been supporting teachers, lobbying for public education, and ensuring the strongest possible public education system for our nation’s children. A key component of the anniversary celebrations was the NEA’s official commemorative publication published by Faircount Media Group which was launched at the annual conference in Philadelphia. It provided attendees, members, and supporters of the NEA with a historical perspective and a look forward to what lies ahead for our nation’s teachers.
