Apollo XI 40th Anniversary

Hot on the heels of our highly successful publication for the 50th anniversary of NASA, Faircount is following up with THE FIRST GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND. This illustrated magazine will revisit the incredible events of July 20, 1969 when Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin set foot on the surface of the moon while Michael Collins orbited above in the Command Module. Far from dwelling on past successes, we will use the Apollo program’s achievements as a catalyst to look into the present and future of space exploration, as viewed by key leaders in the industry including former Apollo astronauts who will share their views in exclusive interviews.

THE FIRST GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND will feature a diverse, all-encompassing look at America’s achievements in space. The publication’s editorial will be authored by a panel of the world’s leading space writers and be profusely illustrated with more than 200 photographs from NASA’s archives.
